Roles, Channels & Permissions for Multi-Platform Verification via Discord Connections
/set-verified-role to choose the role given on verification.#verify-here with correct permissions (see below). Channel Permissions Guide@everyone cannot view them. Role-Exclusive Channel Guide/setup-verify in #verify-here to post the verification panel./set-alert-channel to receive admin notifications.Platform verification ensures only real members of your community gain access to your Discord server.
To make this work:
#verify-here@everyone must have no visibility outside the verification channelThis bot verifies users by reading their platform connections from Discord. Users link their account (TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Steam, or Roblox) to Discord once (User Settings โ Connections), then authorize the bot to read it. No separate OAuth, no scraping, no bio codes.
@everyone and allow the Verified roleCorrect permissions are required for the system to function.
#verify-here.#verify-here.Verification completes instantly after the user authorizes via Discord. The bot reads their linked platform username, logs it, and assigns the Verified role โ all in one click.
Your server needs exactly three roles:
Created automatically when you install the verification bot.
Assigned after successful verification.
Default role for all new users.
If the Bot Role is below the Verified Role, the bot cannot assign roles.
Create a text channel named:
#verify-hereThis is the only channel unverified users should be able to see.
Place it at the top of the channel list.
Optional visibility โ does not impact verification.
For every channel except #verify-here:
| Role | View Channel |
|---|---|
@everyone |
โ OFF |
Verified |
โ ON |
Bot Role |
โ ON |
This ensures users cannot access the server until they are verified.
Category settings override channel settings. Incorrect category permissions break verification immediately.
If @everyone can see any category, the system fails.
All commands require Administrator permission. Use Discordโs slash command menu (type /) to see available commands.
๐ Privacy: All admin command responses are ephemeral (only visible to you) to keep sensitive information private.

|---|---|---|
| ๐ต TikTok | /lookup-tiktok |
/unverify-tiktok |
| โถ๏ธ YouTube | /lookup-youtube |
