Add to Discord

Users verify through Discord's built-in 3rd party connection โ€” no codes, no extra steps.

Once linked, their username from your chosen platform and Discord username are logged together.

This gives you a clear, reliable way to identify who each member is across both spaces.

๐Ÿ“ฑ See It In Action

Here's what the verification process looks like in Discord

The entire verification process is private - only you can see your verification messages

โšก

One-Click Verify

Uses the account you've already linked in Discord โ€” no codes, no extra logins. Your role is assigned the moment you authorize.

๐Ÿ”

Private & Secure

We never see your password and never read your messages โ€” only your linked username. Device and IP signals are stored as scrambled codes that can't be reversed.

๐Ÿ“Š

Verification Logs

Full audit trail of every verification and removal โ€” who, when, why. Export as CSV.

๐Ÿ“ธ

Screenshot Blocklist Import

Drop a screenshot of banned accounts โ€” AI extracts every username and blocks them in one click.

๐Ÿงญ

Moderation by Platform Identity

Look up, unverify, kick, or ban any member by their platform username โ€” even if they've left the server.

๐Ÿ“ฃ

Role-Targeted Broadcasts

Announce to any role in one click โ€” channel post or DM, sent under your name. Perfect for verified-only news and follow-ups.

๐Ÿท๏ธ

Auto-Assigned Unverified Role

Auto-tag everyone who hasn't verified โ€” perfect for targeted nudges and channel gating.

๐ŸŒ

Multi-Platform Support

23 platforms โ€” TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, X, Instagram, Steam, Roblox, Spotify, and more.

๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ

Alt-Account Detection

Catches members who try to come back with a new account. Moderators can look up a user and see other accounts that signed up from the same device or network.

๐Ÿ”„

Daily Account Check

Every 24 hours the bot re-confirms each member's linked account. Renames update on their own; account swaps and disconnects alert your moderators automatically.

๐Ÿชช

Linked Roles Ready

Optional welcome role Discord grants automatically to anyone with a linked account โ€” a soft landing before they fully verify in your server.

๐Ÿšซ

Ban-Evasion Protection

If a blocklisted account slips into your server, the bot detects and bans it automatically โ€” your server's rules are enforced no matter how they got in.

๐Ÿ“– About

Learn more about the Social Verification Bot

What is this bot?

A security-first Discord verification bot. It confirms members own the account they claim, then keeps that verification honest for as long as they stay in your server. Available as TikTok Verify (TikTok only) or Account Link (all 23 Discord connection platforms โ€” YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Steam, and more).

How it works

Members link their account to Discord once, click Verify, and get their role instantly โ€” no codes, no logins. A daily check then re-confirms every member: renames update automatically; account swaps and disconnects alert your moderators.

Layered security

Supported Platforms

All 23 Discord connection types are supported via the Account Link bot:

Is it safe?

Yes. We never:

For the daily connection-sync check, the bot stores one Discord OAuth refresh token per verified user, encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). It is used only to re-read which platform account is linked in your Discord settings โ€” nothing else โ€” and is deleted when you are unverified or after 180 days. You can revoke it any time in Discord โ†’ User Settings โ†’ Authorized Apps. Device fingerprint and IP signals are stored only as salted one-way hashes; raw values never touch our database. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

โ“ Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about platform verification

Do you need my password?

No. You link your platform account to Discord through Discordโ€™s own settings. The bot never sees your password.

What does the bot read?

Only your platform username from the connection youโ€™ve already linked in Discord. Nothing else.

I linked my account to Discord but the bot says itโ€™s not found.

Make sure your platform connection is visible in Discord โ†’ User Settings โ†’ Connections before clicking Verify. If itโ€™s there, try clicking Verify again.

What if I linked the wrong account?

Remove the platform connection in Discord Connections, re-add the correct one, then click Verify again.

Can I be removed from the server based on my account?

Yes. Admins can look up and action any member by their platform username. If youโ€™re blocked on that platform, they may remove you from the server.

Do I need to re-verify if I change my username?

No. The bot runs a daily background check on every verified member and automatically updates the logged username when it changes on the linked platform. Moderators see the change in the audit log. You only need to re-verify if you connect a completely different platform account in Discord settings.

What's the difference between the Linked Role and the Member role?

Two optional tiers. The Linked Role is granted automatically by Discord to anyone with a linked account โ€” handy for a welcome/rules channel. The Member role is the one the bot assigns after someone verifies in your server, and it's the one your moderators control. The Linked Role is a soft landing; the Member role is full access.

How does the bot detect alt accounts?

When you verify, the bot saves a scrambled, non-reversible code for your device and network โ€” never your real device details or IP. Moderators can look up a member and see other accounts that signed up from the same device or network. It's a tool to catch people rejoining under a new name. Signals are deleted after 180 days. See About for the full breakdown.

If I'm banned in one server, am I banned everywhere?

No. Blocklists are per-server. Being on Server A's blocklist doesn't affect Server B โ€” each moderator team controls their own list. If your linked platform account is on Server A's blocklist and you join Server A, the bot bans you from that server only. You can still verify in other servers that don't have you blocklisted.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Discord Server Setup Guide

Roles, Channels & Permissions for Multi-Platform Verification via Discord Connections

Quick Setup Summary
  1. Install the bot from the Discord App Library.
  2. Place Bot Role above Verified Role in Server Settings โ†’ Roles.
  3. Create #verify-here with correct permissions (see below). Channel Permissions Guide
  4. Set all other channels so @everyone cannot view them. Role-Exclusive Channel Guide
  5. Fix category permissions to prevent overrides. Permissions FAQ
  6. Open the Admin Dashboard and sign in with Discord โ€” from there:
    • Configuration โ†’ pick the Verified Role and (optional) Alert Channel.
    • Setup Verify โ†’ post the verification panel to #verify-here.
Admin Dashboard

The Admin Dashboard is a web UI for configuring verification โ€” no commands to memorize. Sign in with Discord; any server where you have Manage Server permission will appear in the server selector.

๐Ÿ” Access

  • Navigate to /dashboard on this site, or run /1-dashboard in Discord to get a direct sign-in link.
  • Authentication is via Discord OAuth โ€” the dashboard never stores your password.
  • Use the server selector (sidebar on desktop, dropdown on mobile) to switch between servers.

What you can do in the dashboard

Page Description
๐Ÿ“Š Overview Verified count, member count, blocked accounts, active platforms, plus a health check for required config.
โš™๏ธ Configuration Set the Verified Role, Unverified Role (auto-assigned to anyone without the verified role โ€” includes a Backfill existing members button), Alert Channel, and toggle Join Enforcement (auto-kick unverified members after timeout).
๐Ÿ”ง Setup Verify Choose the channel (and for Account Link, the enabled platforms) and post the verification panel.
๐Ÿšซ Ban Management Block/unblock platform accounts, view the blocklist, or import bans from a screenshot โ€” AI extracts usernames automatically.
โœ… Verified Users Browse, export (CSV), and unverify members.
๐Ÿ“‹ Audit Logs View and export the full verification audit trail โ€” every verification and removal is recorded with who/when/why. Includes a ๐Ÿ”ง Backfill removal history button to retroactively mark past removals.
๐Ÿ“ฃ Broadcast Announce to one or more roles, either as a channel post (optionally sent under your own name & avatar) or a DM to every member with those roles (rate-limit paced, with a per-send cap so you can't accidentally blast a huge server). No webhook setup needed.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Preload your blocklist (recommended first step)

Before you post your verification panel, load any accounts you already know should be banned. Anyone on the blocklist is prevented from ever verifying โ€” they'll be blocked the moment they try, instead of you having to catch them afterwards.

Three ways to add accounts to the blocklist, all on the Ban Management page:

  • Manual add โ€” type a platform username (and pick the platform for Account Link) and click Block. Fastest for one-offs.
  • Import from screenshot โ€” drop in screenshots of your existing blocked-accounts list; OCR extracts every username in one go.
  • Import from CSV โ€” bulk-upload a CSV with columns platform, username, reason. Click ๐Ÿ“„ Download template on the dashboard to grab a pre-filled starter file, fill it in, then upload (or paste the rows directly). Username-only rows are allowed โ€” they'll use the default platform you set on the form.

Once an account is on the blocklist, the verify flow shows them a "This account has been blocked" message and they never receive the verified role. Removing them is one click (or /unblock-account).

๐Ÿ“ธ Block from a screenshot (Ban Management)

  1. Go to Ban Management and click Import from screenshot.
  2. Drop in one or more images (PNG, JPG, HEIC โ€” iPhone screenshots work natively).
  3. OCR extracts every username. Matches against currently-verified members are highlighted in red.
  4. Leave "Also unverify these accounts" checked to remove the verified role + record for every match in one click.
  5. Every removal is written to Audit Logs with status unverified โ€” showing who removed them, when, and the reason.
Overview

Platform verification ensures only real members of your community gain access to your Discord server.

To make this work:

  • New users must see only #verify-here
  • The bot must be able to assign the Verified Role
  • @everyone must have no visibility outside the verification channel

Discord Connections Verification

This bot verifies users by reading their platform connections from Discord. Users link their account to Discord once (User Settings โ†’ Connections), then authorize the bot to read it. Supports all 23 Discord connection types. No separate OAuth, no scraping, no bio codes.

  • Verified role: assigned instantly after the user authorizes
  • Platform username: captured and stored for moderation
  • Access gating: lock channels for @everyone and allow the Verified role

Correct permissions are required for the system to function.

How Verification Works
  1. User joins the server and sees only #verify-here.
  2. User links their platform account to Discord: User Settings โ†’ Connections โ†’ Add (TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, Instagram, or any supported platform).
  3. User clicks Verify in #verify-here. With Account Link, they pick their platform from a dropdown.
  4. User clicks Connect Discord to Verify โ€” a one-click Discord OAuth prompt.
  5. Bot reads their linked platform username from Discord connections.
  6. Bot logs the username and assigns the Verified Role instantly.
  7. User gains full access to the server.

Verification completes instantly after the user authorizes via Discord. The bot reads their linked platform username, logs it, and assigns the Verified role โ€” all in one click.

Required Roles & Role Order

Your server needs exactly three roles:

๐Ÿค– Bot Role

Created automatically when you install the verification bot.

โœ… Verified Role

Assigned after successful verification.

๐Ÿ‘ค @everyone

Default role for all new users.

โš ๏ธ Critical Role Order

  1. Bot Role (highest)
  2. Verified Role
  3. @everyone (lowest)

If the Bot Role is below the Verified Role, the bot cannot assign roles.

Create the Verify Channel

Create a text channel named:

#verify-here

This is the only channel unverified users should be able to see.

Place it at the top of the channel list.

Verify Channel Permissions

@everyone

  • View Channel โ€” โœ… ON
  • Send Messages โ€” โœ… ON
  • Embed Links โ€” โŒ OFF
  • Attach Files โ€” โŒ OFF

Bot Role

  • View Channel โ€” โœ… ON
  • Send Messages โ€” โœ… ON
  • Embed Links โ€” โœ… ON
  • Read Message History โ€” โœ… ON
  • Use Application Commands โ€” โœ… ON
  • Manage Roles โ€” โœ… ON

Verified Role

Optional visibility โ€” does not impact verification.

Other Channel & Category Permissions

For every channel except #verify-here:

Role View Channel
@everyone โŒ OFF
Verified โœ… ON
Bot Role โœ… ON

This ensures users cannot access the server until they are verified.

Category Permissions

Category settings override channel settings. Incorrect category permissions break verification immediately.

โœ… Correct Category Setup

  • @everyone โ€” โŒ OFF
  • Verified Role โ€” โœ… ON
  • Bot Role โ€” โœ… ON

โŒ Incorrect Category Setup

  • @everyone โ€” โœ… ON
  • Verified Role โ€” โœ… ON
  • Bot Role โ€” โœ… ON

If @everyone can see any category, the system fails.

Linked Role & Community Onboarding (optional)

A Discord Linked Role tracks platform username changes automatically โ€” when a member renames their TikTok / YouTube / Twitch handle, Discord re-checks the live connection so the new name propagates without anyone re-verifying. Pair it with Community Onboarding to funnel new members straight to verification.

One-time bot-owner step

In the Discord Developer Portal โ†’ your app โ†’ General Information โ†’ "Linked Roles Verification URL", set it to the bot's /linked-role endpoint (your bot's domain + /linked-role โ€” the exact value is shown in the Admin Dashboard โ†’ Setup card). Without this, Discord's "Connect" button has nowhere to send members.

Create the Linked Role

  1. Server Settings โ†’ Roles โ†’ Create Role. It must be a brand-new role with zero members โ€” Discord won't convert an existing populated role into a Linked Role.
  2. Open the new role โ†’ Links tab โ†’ Add Requirement โ†’ pick this bot โ†’ pick its verification key (e.g. tiktok_verified) โ†’ Must Be Equal To 1 โ†’ Save.
  3. Leave the role with no server permissions โ€” it is only an identifier.
  4. On any channel it should unlock, set @everyone โ†’ View Channel โŒ OFF and the Linked Role โ†’ View Channel โœ… ON.

Community Onboarding

Requires Server Settings โ†’ Enable Community first. Then:

  1. Server Settings โ†’ Onboarding โ†’ Default Channels: set only the channels an unverified member should see โ€” #verify-here, #rules, a read-only #announcements. Real channels stay out of the default set and gated behind the Verified role.
  2. Onboarding โ†’ Questions: optional, for interest roles only. Do not try to make verification a question โ€” it can't grant a Linked Role or trigger the bot.
  3. Onboarding โ†’ Server Guide โ†’ New Member To-Dos: add a To-Do pointing at #verify-here with an action label like "โœ… Verify your account โ€” unlock the server." This is the checklist item every new member sees on join, deep-linked straight into the verify channel.
  4. Fill Discord's requirements checklist, then toggle Enable Onboarding on.

Member experience after setup

  1. Member joins โ†’ Onboarding To-Do says "Verify your account โ†’ #verify-here".
  2. They tap it โ†’ land in #verify-here โ†’ see the bot's Verify panel.
  3. Click Verify โ†’ bot logs them โ†’ grants the Verified role instantly โ†’ Discord auto-grants the Linked Role.
  4. Gated channels appear, To-Do checks off, onboarding complete.

Note: a Server Guide To-Do can only deep-link to a channel, not trigger verification directly โ€” so the Verify panel must already be posted in #verify-here (Dashboard โ†’ Setup โ†’ Post Panel). The To-Do gets them to the door; the panel is the door.

Troubleshooting

User sees "No connection found"

  • The user has not linked the platform account to Discord yet.
  • Tell them: User Settings โ†’ Connections โ†’ Add โ†’ select the required platform (e.g. TikTok), then try again.
  • Make sure they are linking the correct account.

User clicks "Connect Discord to Verify" but nothing happens

  • Try a different browser or disable strict tracking/privacy blockers.
  • Make sure the user completes the Discord authorization prompt (donโ€™t cancel).
  • If they are not redirected back, they can click the verify button again.

Bot cannot assign the Verified Role

  • The botโ€™s role must be above the Verified Role in Server Settings โ†’ Roles.
  • Check that the Verified Role has been set with /set-verified-role.

User sees "Account Blocked"

  • The platform account has been added to this server's blocklist by an admin.
  • Admins can check the blocklist with /blocklist and remove entries with /unblock-account.
  • Blocked accounts stay blocked even if the user leaves and rejoins.

If all else fails:

  • Admins can use /manual-verify to manually verify a user.
  • Check /verification-log to see if the attempt was recorded.
  • Use the Admin Dashboard for a visual overview of your server's configuration and status.
Best Practices
  • โœ… Keep #verify-here at the top of the channel list.
  • โœ… Never move the bot role below Verified.
  • โœ… Never enable View Channel for @everyone outside #verify-here.
  • โœ… Pin instructions in the verification channel.
  • โœ… Test with a secondary Discord account.
Legacy Slash Commands (power users)

The Admin Dashboard covers every workflow. Slash commands are kept for power users, automation, and quick in-chat actions. All commands require Administrator permission and responses are ephemeral (only visible to you).

Shared Commands (same for all platforms)

Command Description
/1-dashboard Open the web-based admin dashboard
/2-help Get help, FAQ, and setup guide links
/setup-verify Creates the verification panel in the current channel
/set-verified-role Set which role is assigned when a user verifies
/set-unverified-role Auto-assign a role to every unverified member (backfills existing members, removed on verify)
/clear-unverified-role Stop auto-assigning the unverified role
/set-alert-channel Set a channel to receive admin alerts and notifications
/verified-list Shows all verified users and their platform usernames
/verified-export Exports verified users as a CSV file
/manual-verify Manually verify a user with their platform username
/unverify Remove verification from a user (removes role and record)
/verification-log View the full verification audit trail
/export-log Export the verification log as a CSV file
/backfill-log Populate the verification log from existing verified user records
/scan-unverified DM all unverified members with a one-click verify link (dry run by default)
/block-account Block a platform account from verifying in this server
/unblock-account Remove a platform account from the blocklist
/blocklist View all blocked accounts in this server
/import-blocklist Import blocked accounts from a screenshot (AI-powered extraction)

Platform-Specific Commands

Each bot has its own lookup and unverify commands:

Bot Lookup Command Unverify Command
๐ŸŽต TikTok Verify /lookup-tiktok /unverify-tiktok
๐Ÿ”— Account Link PREMIUM /lookup (optional platform filter) /unverify-platform

Lookup finds which Discord user verified a given username. Unverify removes verification (with optional kick/ban) by platform username.
